Installing the TelliCast softwareLocate the file t-systems-setup.exe, and double-click on it. This file will most likely be supplied by EUMETSAT on CD. Again, you may be asked to confirm running the file. Select a Complete Installation (note that the default is "(none)". Right!
When presented with Installation Location dialog, I recommend that instead of the default directory, you choose somewhere outside the C:\Program Files\ tree. I recommend a new directory in the C:\Tools\ folder. I chose C:\Tools\TelliCast\. Make the folder first, then use the Browse button to locate it. Press the Next button once you have set the installation location.
Caveat - the best choice for the destination directory still has to be confirmed. Leave the Install and configure as a Windows Service unchecked:
Enter your user name and password exactly as given to you by EUMETSAT. Note that you can always edit the recv.ini later to enter the correct information. If, at the final step, you leave the Start when finished box checked:
you will most likely get a warning message from the Windows Firewall:
